Things To Do
The
countryside around Rosebush is ideal for walking.
Local walk guides are available from the old
post office. Walking to the highest peak Foel
Cwm Cerwyn at 1,759 feet, is only approximately
759 feet above Rosebush, From where you can
see as far as Snowdonia to the north and the
Gower Peninsular to the south. With good car
parking in the village, the circular walk means
you can call in for well earned refreshments
at the Old Post Office after!
A bird watchers paradise, the hills are unspoiled
and tranquil. Ravens can be heard in the quarry
grunting like pigs and buzzards regularly soar
above. Occasionally Red Kites are seen, but
not as frequently as in the Cardigan area.

There
is a network of good bridalways and forest tracks,
which are regularly used by mountain bikers
as well as horse riders. Industrial architecture
and geological points of interest as well as
the abundant flora and fauna provide plenty
of interest for all to enjoy.
When visiting please leave nothing but footprints,
take nothing but photographs and memories and
leave everything for the next people to enjoy
as much as you have.
Caution: Fog sets in quickly.
